Santa Fe Baldy is a prominent summit in the Sangre de Cristo Muntains of New Mexico, located about 15 miles northeast of Santa Fe. It is 12,632 feet high (3,850 m). Tree line is the Sangre de Cristos is unusually high (exceeding 12,000 feet - 3,700 m) and only the top 600-800 feet of the mountain is free of trees.
