From here you can either head forward up Santa María or take a right and head on to Santiaguito. Left or behind takes you back to Chicavioc (and thereby Quetzaltenango). Not sure if you can drive the left route now as it is very heavily rutted.
Note that there is another route up Santa María somewhat lower on the left hand path if you're coming up that way, though they both join together fairly soon (see below figure and that on main Santa María page).
