I'm afraid I am not sure about how to translate their name (chamois?) ... They are sarrios, the closest ones I've seen in my whole life, and seemed to be posing for my camera. September 2007

Yes...

..., the word for it is chamois (here in Austria we call them Berggemsen) or simply mountain goat.

I had a feeling it had to be chamois, but I was not sure. And thank you too for your kind comment about the pictures, it was a good day for photographs...
