Fun climb. I actually like the Tangen Tunnel approach. There are actually 2 different tunnels that you can go through then some nice bushwacking! For a descent, another option is to continue up the ridge, eventually reaching the trail that is going up to Green Mountain's summit from Saddle Rock. This makes for a nice hike. At this point I think that you have to fill out an online permit for this but these are very easy to do: https://bouldercolorado.gov/osmp/off-trail-permits
