After first snow of the season
Enjoyed an excellent climb of the SE Chutes after the first snow of the season. There was significant postholing in the shaded parts of the route. Here's a description of the trip. http://www.technologyhiker.com/?p=656

Day wore long
...As we tried every avenue feesible to top out. Great day out with the boys. WML and the Paul Wall himself.

up and down and up and down
Went with AlpineAffinity and Paul Wall (the rapper, duh!) and attempted climbing pretty much every chute/couloir on this thing and got shut down by waist-deep pow. Had we been intelligent dilettantes we may have hiked to the top and dropped it on skis or snowboards. Unfortunatey, we lacked the mental capacity to fathom this at the time. Still a fun day with beautiful scenery though!
