Years Ago?Hey Lady, what have you been doing for the past 8 years? :) I haven't been to the Palisades yet, but it must've been nice to wear a tank top out there.

Re: Years Ago?Well, not as much as I was doing in the summer of 1999! ;) I keep forgetting how long ago that was. It was a very hot day up there, hence the tank top.

The snow is just about melted in our yard!! it looks like the end of May outside..what a difference from last year.

Re: How Cute!Anita, thank you! I don't think I brought a hat at all on that trip. I was regretting it. It was about 85 degrees up there--almost unbearably hot. From observing the weather in the Sierra over the years I've noticed that most of the time there is a heat wave in late-July.
