Sentinel: Chouinard-Herbert - A sample of the rusty, old 1/4" split shaft, button head, and Star Dryvin bolts that were replaced with 3/8" SS Fixe/ASCA bolts and hangers. Some of the old YC aluminium hangers were so worn out that they could almost be pulled off bolts by hand. The question always is: ' what would you rather fall on?'

Ah, c'mon!

I've rapped on hundreds of old 1/4-inch Rawl Drive hangers (; But I almost crapped myself doing a big pendulum on El Cap from some broken aluminum hangers!
