The one and only Sentinel Peak. One of my favorite peaks around Lake Mead to photograph and also a great hike. Here it is seen from the approach to Boulder Peak. Lake Mead Area, Nevada. January 2008.

Cool Colors!

It looks like someone splashed all kinds of paint on this mountain. There must be a lot of different minerals there to make all those colors! Great shot!

Thank you Paolo. We actually found a perfectly round lava bomb that day probably millions years old. An interesting area indeed.
