September 2004: the easiest...
September 2004: the easiest route up from Whitecliff Lake - skirt the base of the cliffs and head up the gully to the low point on the ridge (center right). The summit block (made of volcanic material unlike the cliffs) is the darker rock in the upper left - the use trail stays behind the ridge.
