2nd peak of the day
Richard Carey and I decided to go for this one after we had done Trinity Peak earlier in the day. By the time we got to our "trailhead", it was very warm but we felt that we could do this one even in the heat since it isn't a difficult hike and doesn't entail alot of mileage. Our tongues were hanging out by the time we made it back to our vehicles since the temps were in the 80's but we carried enough water to stay hydrated and we didn't push the pace. The views were really hazy and I've post pics of what we could see in the picture section on this page. Really an isolated area. We did see one other car as we went over the pass near Vernon.
