Shaefer's Pass Route to the Tooth of Time
The Shaefer's Pass route to the Tooth of Time is marked on this USGS quad chart of the area. The class 2 portion of the trail is approximate; it's generally correct and mostly class 2, but there are occasional, short, class 1 stretches as well. The class 3 section is pack off and requires minor scrambling over large boulders.
