It is sad to see so little snow on the mountains so soon. I will be going to Iran in 3 weeks for a climbing trip and am pretty unhappy about the low snow conditions this year.
One more thing about this year is the low amount of water in the rivers. For example, when I went to Fasham and Garmabdar, the Judgerood river was similar to what you see in July. Also the small river in Darakeh was similar to what you see in mid summer. The water stream in Darakeh might dry up for the first time this summer!
In any case I hope you will have a nice trip.

You are right. In fact in winter because of unpredictable conditions climbing and hiking could be very difficult.
