Re: Bautiful mountain...Unfortunately, on summit day I got violently ill not too long after leaving camp. I was told it looked like a scene from the Exorcist. I turned around but the other two made the south summit. I've vowed to go back.

Re: Bautiful mountain...The south summit is 6m lower than the actual summit. It is on the right in the photo. It is also the cover of the Brad Johnson guidebook. I believe it is in the D- to D range, although that could be off. It's about 7-8 pitches of 60-80 degrees, (from what I was told since I had to turn back).

Re: FantasticThe actual summit is 5703m, the south summit is 5697m. I think the south is a more aesthetic climb with a bit more difficulty, though.
