One of the great Snake River Range Peaks
It truly is a great summit and more rugged and less accessible than its neighbor Mt Baird. I have hiked up twice from Little Elk and the route mentioned looks very nice through the upper basin. I went more directly from the lower canyon and I have always wanted to go up the route shown here. I have gone a couple of times from Sheep Creek to the north which has a good trail to the divide. It really has a great view of everything around from Palisades to the Tetons.
