Shifkiten Sar (ca 5700m)

Shifkiten Sar is a minor peak at the end of the North Ridge of Shimshal Whithorn. It was first climbed by a British team in 1986. This photo shows the Western side of the peak. The glacier partially visible on the left hand side of the photo is the Malangutti Glacier. The high peak in the background on the left hand side of the photo is Karun Koh (7164m) which is the highest peak in the South Ghujerab Mountains.
