Re: While you

hahah.....he was focusing on my focused energy. You should see his Russian girlfriend climber I was shooting. She is definitely something to look at. (I took terrible photos of her though..I may post some of his to share though). Funny you should say, I just asked him for the high-res copy of this today! Thanks for the comment.

Camera?

What camera do you use? Can't tell in this pic.

Nice portfolio of pics BTW...

Cheers,
Kris

Re: Camera?

Thanks Kris. Your photos are incredible!

I shoot with a Canon 40D. Just got it in my May and it's completely shredded. It slammed down on a rock in Aug as I fell backwards shooting climbers at Smith. Cracked the LCD (haven't had a working one since - can't review photos). Cracked the top plastic covering the ISO/Aperature data. Then dropped it against the hard, polished subway floor here in Taipei a few weeks ago...it slid a couple feet under commuters' busy feet.

Had lots of problems then - shut off after every photo taken. But oddly enough, that righted itself.

And now it works perfectly still! LOVE CANON!!

What kind are you shooting with?

Re: Camera?

Wow, sounds like that camera has had a tragic life. :P It seems it hasn't affected the quality of your shots though, so props goes to Canon.
As for me, I'm using a 7 year old Fuji S7000 but am hoping to retire it soon for a Nikon D40 or D5000. I love Canon cameras too, but the Nikons fall within my price range with the features they have. A Canon 50D would sure be sweet to see what I can do with it, but the price is a little steep yet.

Sounds to me like you need a custom stainless steel case... if something like that even exists.

Be gentle young grasshoppah...

Happy climbing,
Kris
