Short Cut

At this point, you can either turn right and make your way down steep switchbacking rocks for 500', or...Plan B: you can sit down and slide there. The choice is obvious. Just make sure you have good avalanche-reading skills and TAKE OFF YOUR CRAMPONS or you'll break your leg. Use your axe and don't get out of control because it's a long, deadly way to the bottom of the glacier.
