It was loose in places, but mainly leaving Devils Hall. After that it wasn't bad. We actually went over to Guadalupe Peak after that, so I'm not sure about the route to Bartlett...didn't look too bad that way. Good luck! Guadalupes are great
Not any cliffs will block your passage. The slopes just north of Guadalupe Peak were pretty steep, so pick your line carefully. Should be no problems, though. Have fun!

Route ConditionsWas the route primarily loose scree, or was the ground somewhat solid? Also, did you descend the same route, or go over Bartlett?
