I'm curious: I take it that the official name is "Silver Benchmark". In that case, why is the page titled "Silver BM Peak (NV)" instead of simply "Silver Benchmark"?
Fair enough question on your part. I often use the "BM" initials as a shorthand for the longer word of Benchmark. I'd have to agree that "Silver Benchmark" would probably make more sense. Benchmarks are found on so many US peaks that perhaps it is easy to get casual about using the full name. Thanks for your query.
