In red the normal route to the top of Pico de Paderna. Notice the dotted route: this is an alternative ´direct´ walk towards the Collado de Paderna, steeper than the ´normal´ approach, but still safe. The normal route leaves the pass to the right (NW) and gains the ridge a little bit SW of the actual Collado de Paderna. The dotted line gains the pass directly.
