At last, Snow!!

As far as I know this is the first time cross country skiing, or any kind of skiing for that matter, has ever been done around Lampeter, West Wales. This album celebrates this.

We only had good snow for two days this year so me and my brother Joe made the most of it by doing a couple of short tours of the local roads, forestry tracks and hillsides. As we walked through town with our skis on our backs for some reason we were laughed at by the locals, the fools. And this is coming from a town where walking down the street in full chain-male and medieval garb, carrying an array of antiquitated weapons is considered normal and no one so much as bats an eyelid. We can thank the University for this; it has two, yes two, medieval battle societies, and an abundance of strange people who are members of them.

By the way if anyone knows any different about this being Lampeters first local skiing expedition let me know, and we can change this album into an album into a page dedicated to these rare events.
