Skiing near Tiz-Neza-To Lake, Arctic Ural
Left Fork Tiz-Neza-Shor Creek.
Short ridges and twisting drainages is how the North-Easternmost side of Arctic Ural looks like - and in between the mountainous sections, there are wide and straight glacial valleys with huge lake and fierce gales.
At 68 degrees North, probably the closest I ever got to the North Pole. March 1989.
