Skrlatica alpenglow

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Skrlatica alpenglow
NW side of Skrlatica (2740m), above Krnica valley, from Vratica pass (1799m). Skrlatica got its name because of this tone of color in which is painted during sunsets (Skrlatna color in Slovenian). On the left end of the photo is Velika Ponca (2602m), while on the right is Dolkova Spica (2591m).

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."   --Calvin Coolidge
