Aptly named

I once slipped on one of those slippery rocks in McConnells Mill State Park on the Slippery Rock Gorge Trail. I had my hands in my pockets at the time and ended up getting pretty banged up.

Re: Aptly named

The name comes directly from the Seneca Indian language word for slippery rock, "wechachochapohka." That trail is part of the great North Country Trail, which goes from New York to North Dakota. The Slippery Rock Gorge is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Glad you were able to see it!
