I had always referred to this as Cherry Creek 10459, a peak that is an error range peak on peakbagger.com and a p2k on Lists of John. It all has to do with what concept of prominence is being used. Don't ask, it gets confusing sometimes. Regardless, Dennis Poulin needed this one to set up finishing all of the Nevada P2K's and error range peaks in the state. The last one would be Toiyabe Dome but that is covered in a trip report elsewhere. We utilized information from Adam Helman who accessed this summit from the south near Currie Pass. For us it was a 6 mile round trip with 2345' of elevation gain. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed visiting this one.
"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."
