This photo happened purely by chance. While ascending a variation of the NE Direct route for Mount Sproatt (B.C.), I looked up and snapped this photo. It caught the sun directly behind the top of a snow-capped evergreen tree, creating a near-halo effect. Photo taken on March 9, 2013.
