Enticing page for a mountain on the Lake Tahoe rim. What to do if in Tahoe or visiting the Burning Man? Great county high point to visit and it goes without saying that you get great vistas of the lake.

Enjoyed your trip report as it made quite a contrast from when I was there and it was snow all the way.
Your map would be a helpful additon to this page. Would you mind posting it as a photo as it would be helpful to anyone interested in an overview. Lake Tahoe is a great place with lots of county highpoints to choose from. Thanks for the vote, it is appreciated.
Thanks David for the vote. Sacramento is a hop skip and a jump and a great place to live. A great time to do this one is after Spooner closes down (read my trip report) Here's a handy Spooner map that'll give some perspective. I look forward to some pics by you to help my page grow a little : ))
Thanks Radek, it was a fun one to snow hike. If you want a little more info on the best time to snow hike it, see my trip report. Love those Nevada / Tahoe / Sierra peaks.
Hi Dean, Great page and info - hope to do this hike next time when we go back to Carson City. Being a State Capitol buff, I especially enjoyed the trivia info courtesy of wiki. Carson City was our 47th Capitol - was tempted to post a picture of the Capitol's Dome for you. We want to get back there to summit Boundary-just waiting for an airfare deal to Reno.

Untitled CommentDean, I'll have to try this one sometime. It's practically just a hop, skip and jump away from my apartment in Sacramento.
