| Introduced to Ogwen by my Glaswegian workmate in the sixties and have been all over the area since. Spent many nights camping at Blaen Nant in the Llanberis pass after a few beers and songs in the Vaynol. Was threatened with eviction from the PYG for wearing a hat! Nearly bumped into Don Willans in the Padarn as he was throwing darts. Luckily I avoided that cardinal sin. Enjoyed rock climbing on the three cliffs and in Idwal. The Gwynant and Tremadog also lured me onto desperate climbs. A briliant area of Britain for mountaineers. | |
