If you have high clearance and 4WD, consider the road up from Spring City. At the junction with Skyline road (graded dirt), turn south. A nice hike is to include going over the top of North Tent Peak although the shortest is from the south of South Tent off of a 4wd road. Avoid this area in thunderstorms, rain or snow.
