"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Trip Report CommentThanks! This is a great peak for those who like to backpack, scramble and/or climb. Try late August to avoid the mosquitos!

Trip Report CommentI was in Titcomb Basin in late August for a Gannett Peak climb. Your report and pics took me back...what an incredible place. We had all intentions of climbing Fremont after Gannett, but the big one took it our of us, so we enjoyed a day of R&R on the shores of Lower Titcomb.

So close, but now so farThank you for your observation regarding Indian Basin. That's the basin I wanted to get into, but in the middle of the night I was disoriented, and instead hiked into Titcomb Basin after coming from the Elkhart trailhead. My attempt to get up to a peak this past weekend failed. Perhaps that is going to change this coming Labor Day weekend, almost exactly 12 years since your summit! Thanks again.
