I arrived late at night to Bogomila village from where I took a taxi to Nežilovo village. I slept there in a garden under the bare sky. Feeling a bit lazy I finally started walking around 9 AM. Around noon I arrived at the Čeples hut and after a long rest headed up - I got lost (I didn't know the short cut) and ended up having to walk up through dense vegetation before merging with the normal route. It was quite painstaking in the hot Macedonian sun but around 3 PM I was greeted by the soldiers on the summit. I had exhausted much of my water supply and the soldiers were kind enough to give me a bottle of water (unfortunately carbonated but when you are thirsty anything will do!). I headed down and made camp for the night some distance below Solunska glava and returned on the next day.

Weather was perfect. Me and my friend Vlado departure from Skopje in 03:00 in the morning and at 07:00 we arrived in the Hut, Ceples. Solid 3-1/2 hours until the summit. Everything was perfect, except that on the descend I hurt my knee. That's it.
