Some of the sourrounding hill...
Some of the sourrounding hill to the south-east of Aconcagua. All of it loose rotten sedimentary rock. There is an old mine up here somewhere. I have never teken the time to explore. In years gone by you used to see abandoned ore carts. But these have dissappeared, one being used as a latrine at basecamp. William Marler December 2001
