Song of the Siren

When I visited the church and graveyard in Zermatt I was immediately struck by the view of the Matterhorn...The story of Ulysses as he was tempted by the sirens came to mind as he was tempted, successfully heard their call while others succumbed to their fate...The view tells me that there is a price to pay for tempting fate and it can last for an eternity...but what a view for eternity.
