Sorcerer - Pitch 2
This is the second pitch of "The Sorcerer". This pitch consists of a steep snow slope for about 30 metres, followed by 20 metres of grade 3 ice. You belay in an overhang on the right side of the ice at the base of the steep sections to come. This picture was taken when it was snowing. (climber: G. Cutforth, photo: A. Jones)
