Great challenging climb for a 'sunny in Seattle' day!
A fun mixed terrain winter hike: hiking boots to micro spikes to snow shoes. MSR snow shoes highly recommended, especially for the short traverse to the summit. Views are priceless!

Great views, even more appreciated with clouds flitting past like stage scrims. I over-packed for this, but we at least put our crampons to use with an unnecessary scramble after a wrong turn.
