Route Climbed: Herd Path from Macomb Date Climbed: Sep 16, 2001
After reaching the Macomb summit, I followed the ridge northward to South Dix. A large portion of South Dix is wonderful open rocks allowing for wonderful views. I placed the two towers on this rock is remembrance of the WTC bombing that happened only a few days before this hike.
"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."
