South Face Of Prusik

Campsites near Lake Vivian allow a nice preview of the Stanley-Burgner route - can you see the chockstone? Boxtop is the next formation to the right along Temple Ridge. Shirley's modeling the always in-fashion shorts-over-polypro (spring 2006 collection). Photo taken June 24, 2006.

Yeah - it's not too clear in this one alone I agree. Thank you for stopping by and all the good votes on my new stuff.

I didn't know that

this was an official Mazama climb. Where are her full height gaitors and neck bandanna? I hope you brought the 36 essentials including fire starter kit with full kindling. :-)

Nice photo, pretty cool to have a nice view of tomorrow's objective over a sunset and dinner. Too bad beer weights so much.

Re: I didn't know that

Heh, heh, heh :)

The gaitors only come out when we're below timberline and the sun is beating down. It's 37 essentials now - it's full kindling AND a flame thrower.

Ya - the wall looks steep and cool from this vantage point. thanks for visiting.
