With Ryan Draft. Lovely Fall colors. A couple was in the process of getting married on the summit of S Moat! (It was the Sunday of a holiday weekend). Left bikes at Echo Lake and cycled back to vehicle at the S Moat TH

Climbed South Moat Mountain with a group of friends from my SOLO Wilderness EMT class. Having grown up in Virginia, I was surprised by the direct, rocky route to the summit. It was a great hike, and got me started climbing in the White Mountains.
