East Route Variation  Sucess!

With the US Army, doing construction work on the border and saw these peaks every day going to the job site. Took the afternoon to climb the South Peak since it looked like it had more scrambling and exposure. Had a good time, took a variation I guess to the typical East Route to the saddle because it had more free climbing and scrambling on it. Good fun for the afternoon.

Best Ever!!!!!  Sucess!

This was my favorite mountain because it had so much scrambling! The mountain had a false summit, but I got to scramble more! The summit was of course amazing and on the way down I was got tiny cactus quills stuck all over me- OUCH! My legs recovered by the next morning. This is a mountain I won't forget and wouldn't mind doing again.

South Scramble  Sucess!

Took the east route. Rock-hopping and scrambling galore, tons of fun but was glad to get this one behind me! Watch for the double summits, actual summit is to the north. Magnificent views on the way up and on top.
