South Rawah Peak, base of East Ridge, looking W to false summit (11,800). Our route wound around N and W after leaving the North Fork Trail, as we tried to avoid some cliffy areas and steeper sections. We arrived too far north on the ascent (here looking up to ridge) and took a more direct route through the trees on the descent.
