South Ridge of Vermilion

This is the main south ridge of Vermilion Peak. Trails from the east connect the lower slopes to the 285 road on the east boundary of Meadow Creek and trails coming up from Buck Lake Creek on the right connect to the western access points. Disgrace Butte is on the right margin of the photo. It was a very smokey day from numerous large fires in the north central Idaho at the time. July 2007
