South ridge route help

The two "points" mentioned in the excellent Jerry Roach thirteener book are perhaps easier to view from a distance. A user trail skirts the western edge of point 12,282, no need to go over the top. The descent down into the intervening valley and back up again is gentle, but longer than it looks. Stay west and below point 13,004 as a few cairns lead you. Pretty much grass all the way. At summit cone, choose left side for still more grass. 9-7-07
