Southern Carnic Alps

Southern Carnic Alps

Monte di Ragogna is a small, mostly forrested crest south of Tagliamento river, which only hardly exceeds 500 m of altitude. Today it is interesting to visit it because of a ridge path, which visits the memorial sites and positions from the World War I. But from some places we have from the ridge also nice panoramic views. This is the view towards the east. On the left is the whole group of Monte Cavallo - Col Nudo. On the right Monte Raut is rising. December 1st, 2013.
