A trip to Southern New Mexico

Ever since I got into Edward Abbey books I've had an obsession with the desert and especially sand dunes. I've wanted to roll around on these babies for quite some time here in New Mexico and when my dad threw the idea of going out that way I jumped on it. So here are the whitest sand dunes I've ever seen and a couple bonus shots from Carlsbad Caverns also definate must see.

Great White Sands Photos

White Sands is one of the most difficult dune systems to photograph because of the extreme whiteness and the potential to really mess up the metering. These shots are EXCELLENT!
