Southwest Bowl

Southwest Bowl

The southwest bowl of Wynn Mountain. In shadow at right is the southwest ridge. A class II route on the opposite side of the ridge provides an easy, but tiring ascent. Loose patches of scree can be located in the southwest bowl and help aid the decent. Cracker Lake is in the distance. Nearly 4,000 above and to the left is the summit of Mount Siyeh, fifth tallest peak in Glacier. Allen Mountain, an equally impressive hulk of rock, is on the right skyline.
