Thanks. I am really glad we did it this way - I hate scree slogs. This traverse is really fun. You might want to add on your CD route, that when there is snow, going around the bottom of the summit cliff may not be feasible - we had to downclimb this band, because the snow was really steep and had a moat.
Too bad our schedules didn't align. On the day you climbed this, I climbed Cave Mountain in the Front. It was windy there, too, but nothing like the day before on Old Baldy. I did the south ridge route we'd considered before, by the way, and will be putting up a route page sometime soon. It wasn't as bad as it looks, and although I got onto a little Class 4, it didn't need to be any harder than Class 3.
My friends and I were just discussing the possibilty of a route up this ridge... glad to see there's a page in place! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on a successful summit venture!
