SP\'er Cornvallis is visible...
SP'er Cornvallis is visible in this pic standing on top of the Matterhorn. I took this pic (using digital telephoto) while I was atop Sacajawea. This is the answer to RPC's question posed back in October regarding seeing 2 specks on top of the Matterhorn Tom "sprinted" over to the Matterhorn and back in about 90 minutes. 9-27-03

Great shot Dean - always like the shots showing the "smallness" of a climber relative to his/her alpine environs!

Glad to clear up the "2 speck" mystery. Who was the other speck is the question that will never be answered. You guys looked like you had a good time at the Portland SP meeting (that pizza looked GOOD)

Bob said he had a great time and behaved himself.

Thanks for the vote and the comment, and you are right on, we are rather small when we get measured up against "mother nature".

Great picture Dean! Of course I might be a bit biased.
