"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Route Climbed: Ascent: Obertillacher Tal, Descent: Rollertal Date Climbed: Sept 5th 2004Our first climb during the September vacation. We decided on an easy summit and Spitzköfele surely fits that description. Great morning light on Porze, when we started out at Obertillach (you'll have to wait for the Porze page to see the shots, though). An easy hika along forest roads and, later, well marked paths to the north ridge. A little exposed between real and cross summit. Great views from the summit. The descent through Rollertal steep but easy. All in all a well spent first day.
