SPITZKOEPFE
Hi again, to all the SP's readers, hikers and climbers ! I did this extremely hard hike again, in this dry but cloudy tuesday, the 30th august 2011 and I was successful in my ascent in these very exposed and aerian rocks ! The granitic crest of the Spitzkoepfe is one of my biggest and favorites hikes, in all the Vosges : it's an incredible challenge for all the climbers, to succeed the ascent (it's still more difficult for the hikers who are no-climbers ! ). For challenging this crazy adventure, I did a very and very difficult walk, in the Kerbholz and the Ammelthal and then, I finished the hike, with practicing the very long ascent of the Spitzkoepfe (I was alone, be cautious ! ). There was no cat thereover, in this very slippery and aerian rocky site ! I was totally alone with myself and the nature, it was a fantastic thing, for having peace, respect and emotion ! I did a lot of photos and videos, it was extremely interesting again ... Thanx a lot to SUMMITPOST : you had me given the chance, for knowing this site of the Spitzkoepfe and I can't say you, how I have to thank you ! A great support to you, god bless and respect ! Hi 2 U, dear nature friend >_< ! I return for the second time, at the granitic crest of the Spitzkoepfe and I'm too happy to say this ... I have finally discover the picturesque climbing tower of the LITTLE MATTERHORN (which is named so and showed in your article ! ). It wasn't very easy to find, but I did exceptionnal photos of this one ! The Spitzkoepfe are fabulous, atomical to see, to walk, to climb, to photography, ... In only one word : DEATHLY !!! Please continue so, with bringing me, like so articles and topics, talk'n about my proper country (the Vosges) ... See U by ze next time !!!
The granitic crest of the Spitzkoepfe, is certainly, the most savage and sensationnal of all the High-Vosges ! I was there, is was friday, the 24th july 2009 : the ascent from the base was extremely hard, wild, dangerous, but too and too beautiful, spectacular, technical, paradisiac ... The vegetation was on the better level and the most interesting thing, at the Spitzkoepfe, were the panoramas ... At the South, is the Kastelberg (1350 m) and at the North, is the Hohneck (1366 m ! ). A legendary view, which will being kept a very long time in my head (forever, for the eternity, I will say ! ) ... As a big profi in hikes, I enjoy too much this site. But at the end of the ascent, on the summit, were my legs totally broken, out of walk : I had suffer and how ! But the surprise was there, by my foots ! My eyes were totally enhanced and balanced, deep into the air and the ravines ! A fantastic journey of hike, in these High-Vosges ! And great, still, for your excellent article on SP !!!
