Drive UPNice area, but it's too bad one gets to drive up to the top of this hill.

Re: Drive UPtotally. i've got to check the eastern states off my list of state highpoints, but I'm pretty unimpressed so far with the ease of highpointing the appalachians. Even Mt. Mitchell can be reached by car.

Re: Drive UPYeah, I've driven up to Mt. Mitchell. I even managed to drive up to Backbone in Maryland, all except the last 30 feet or so.
Mt. Macy in NY is a good hike!
